I got the idea in 2010 on a family holiday to Florida. We had a trip to The Kennedy Space Centre and this idea just popped into my head. I couldn't believe it, it was so vivid. It played out over and over again in my mind and started to evolve into this story. My wife was the one who told me I had to start writing my stories down as she believed in me. ;-)

I had the idea for this story back in 2010, but never managed to find the time to write, I had a dream to make sure I did finish it one day. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 which stopped me from doing my usual work (a builder) so I thought what do I do now? That was when I realised that this time had been given to me for a reason, I had to grasp it and live the dream I'd had for years. Things do happen for a reason and if your willing to accept it you can do anything. Positivity is half the battle of life.

I am currently working on the next in the series for The Forgotten Mission. Hopefully it will be out around August time 2015. This as-well as promoting my debut novel.

My advise for aspiring writers is to never give up, what ever life throws at you, if you have a dream, live it. Never be told you can't live your dreams. :-)

The best thing about being a writer. Hmmm, freedom and freeing your mind to but able to use your imagination to the best of your ability. I love making up stories, I done it for years with my kids. This is my debut novel and I've loved using my imagination to create this story. You can express everything fictional or factual it's your mind, use it. ;-)

Hi, thankfully I haven't had to as yet. Time has been my biggest drawback, I could never find the time to put everything down on paper (or iPad) so touch wood and fingers crossed I don't have to deal with it. :-) Great question though.
