Toni Allen The missing car keys while on a camping holiday with my parents - the mystery was solved twelve years later.
Toni Allen Hi Kathy, Finding Louisa is finished but I've sat on it a while to give myself distance from the plot, which needs some fine-tuning. I'll be revising and editing later in the year, so hopefully it will be available next year.
Toni Allen I haven't got a summer reading list lined up yet as I'm busy working on my new novel Murder in the Meadow. For once I'm tempted to dip into a best seller and see what all the fuss is about, so maybe I'll grab one or two of those for my sunshine days.
Toni Allen Hi Donelle, my book The System of Symbols, a new way to look at tarot, is a good all rounder for learning tarot, with examples from real readings. Now, if you want your character, Zoe, to do any sexy readings, then my fun book Sex & Tarot is the one to go for. I also have loads of additional insights on tarot over on my blog at www.toniallenauthor.com
Good luck with your new release!

Toni Allen Hi Jo, I had so many stories going round in my head that it was getting a bit crowded. At first I wrote pieces, not even full stories, maybe just scenes.

I think I finished my first entire book when I was about 22. I was making up a story for someone, to explain spiritual concepts. It was all about a man on his spiritual journey and I was telling my friend bits every time we saw each other, and they asked me to write it down.

At the time I was heavily influenced by Richard Bach's Jonathan Living Seagull and The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah. That will give you a flavour of what I was writing.

Toni Allen Characters appear in my head, and I watch what they do. I then ask, 'What's your story?' Slowly the plot starts to evolve, and I piece together how to get their story down on paper.
Toni Allen I'm working on a second book involving British Detective DI Jake Talbot and Frankie Hayward. It's called Saving Anna, and will hopefully be available next year, 2015.
Toni Allen Write. Many people want to write, but never put pen to paper, or fingers to the keyboard. First you need to get down your story. Write it as it comes, then go back and rewrite, and pay attention to the details. Worry about everything else after you've written it.
Toni Allen The process of creating a character and discovering who they are. I enjoying seeing how my characters react in different situations, and learning their deepest secrets.
Toni Allen I'm one of the lucky ones and don't tend to suffer fro writer's block. I always have loads of ideas, and even when I get stuck on how a particular scene should play out to move the story on to the next situation that needs to evolve, I see that as part of the creative process, never a block.
