That's a tough one because it's never the same. Although, I do come up with some of my best ideas in the shower. It's a magical place. Usually, I'll come up with a thought and then I'll call one of my close friends and run it by her. If she gets excited too, I usually know it's a keeper. I'm also highly deadline driven. I set dates when editing is due and it keeps me on track. Without a deadline, I'd probably procrastinate forever. LOL

Just write. Write the story in your head, not what you think other people want to read. You always have to write for yourself first. And don't get caught up on grammar or flaws. That's why God made editors and beta readers!

The best thing... Hmm... There are so many good things. One of my favorites is when something I've written has helped someone. That makes me feel like it was all worth it.

If I get stuck while writing, I usually phone a friend and talk it out. I tend to think better out loud. It really helps.

I'm working on the sequel to "The Contest". I'm very excited to continue Jake and Madi's story! I've missed them.
