Debbie Boek I just love being able to create characters and stories that people enjoy.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Debbie Boek Just do it. It's a lot of work and time, but nothing beats the feeling when follow your dream and finally finish the absolute last draft and are ready to publish it.

Debbie Boek I'm working on the sequel to Devil's Bait.

How do you get inspired to write?
Debbie Boek I really just love to write whenever I have the time. I actually come up with some of my best ideas while I'm mowing my lawn.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Debbie Boek I've always been intrigued by ghost stories and about how animals seem to realize there are spirits around before people ever do. That's how I first began my novel and then it developed a life of its own from there.
