Apologies, Tonya! I don't know how I managed to miss this. Goodreads never seems to send me notifications of messages/questions/etc. :'\
Anyway, thank you very much for listing my blog on your own! I always appreciate promotional help since I'm so terrible at it myself. lol Feel free to share around any of my stuff (including YT channel stuff) whenever you wish! <3

I actually have thought about that before, yes. :) Unfortunately I decided that, at least at this point in time, I just don't have the time to devote to a second channel, but I'm keeping it on my list of possibilities for the future!

Thank you very much for the offer, Tonya! I would definitely appreciate it! You're right, not everyone who enjoys toy videos also happens to be a reader. lol Which - if not both - book would you like to take a look at? And do you prefer hard copies or ebooks? :)

I've been waiting to start reading more, now that you mention it, but so far my list consists almost entirely of comic omnibus collections! I think I'm going to start off with the Buffy the Vampire Slayer one!

I've never really thought about it, to be honest with you, but the first couple that came to mind was Ron and Hermoine from the Harry Potter series. I'm not sure all that many people would agree with me, but I pretty much thought that those two belonged together from the moment they were introduced in Philosopher's Stone.

Currently there are no plans for a sequel, although I have been asked about it by multiple people, so I might think about it in the future. ^_~
Currently I'm working on finishing up Book One of a four-part series called The Other World. It might be pushing it a bit, but I hope to get that one out by Christmas. :)

The book I'm working on right now is one that I've been dabbling with for a decade and it has changed quite a bit over those years. It began as an idea I got after experiencing heartbreak; the story was a cathartic way for me to express my anger and sadness and frustration in a way that made "me" (the main character) out to be a hero in the end. Of course over time I realized that the story I'd created in order to satisfy my needs at the time wasn't necessarily a good one. I changed a lot of things about the story, eventually doing a complete overhaul of the main character's background and motivations, and I definitely feel that it has turned out for the best.

It's hard to nail down one particular aspect. Personally, I just love writing. I love weaving a story, even if I know that it's not good enough to publish, or I suspect it's not the kind of thing many people would read. I get a thrill out of it. I especially love the really emotional stuff: death scenes, love scenes, torture scenes. I can feel it as I write it and I love that. Maybe that makes me sound a little crazy, but aren't all writers? ^_~

I get inspired the same way I work through writer's block: I absorb other people's stories. For instance, I came up with the idea for 'Nowhere to Hide' because I'd been reading a lot of zombie books and watching a lot of zombie movies, and I thought to myself, "I could totally do this."

Currently I am working on what I expect to be a four-book series. It's a YA fantasy adventure story about a young woman who is beset the task of saving a parallel world from an evil ancestor who can only be destroyed by a blood relative. It's something I've been working with off and on for almost a decade and I'm hoping that I'll have book one ready for publication sometime in 2015.

Write a TON. Just, seriously, never stop writing, even if you're just scribbling nonsense in a notebook. And while you're at it, build up a rhino skin and learn to tell the difference between constructive criticism and plain old fashioned cruelty. You will have lots of people say things about your writing that you won't like, but there's a big difference between having a difference of opinions and someone picking on you just for the sake of picking on you. Learn to work with the former and ignore the latter, and your stress level will lower considerably.

Writer's block is definitely a frustration, but I deal with it in the most entertaining way I can, by absorbing lots of stories in any way I can. I'll watch movies, play video games, and read books, of course. Eventually some aspect of the stories I'm absorbing will resonate and give me an idea to break through the block.
