I was thinking how close Steven's last name is to "adder". The black adder deadly snake? Was that consciously chosen?

Gary Raisor Good question. I threw on my 'water-moccasins,' jumped in my Dodge 'viper' and drove over to 'Black Mamba's' house where I 'rattle'-ed her cage. I asked her that question. She said the Adler name being so close to an Adder snake was most likely subconscious.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Gary Raisor It came from an Idaho seed catalog. I sleep with it under my pillow. It grows into strange things, and, of late, I've been hearing someone calling for Seymour to feed them.
