Lourdes Urrea I get inspiraton from almost anything. People, names, words, animals. Just to give you an example. Where I live is now caterpillar time, these little bugs, crowl their way across avenues and sometimes even roads, they seem to have a destination, they are going somewhere, so, it got me thinking "where are they going? it takes a whole lot not to be runned by a car while crossing the four lane highway", I can easily make a story about it.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Lourdes Urrea Communicating with so many people. As a writer, each one of your readers will "find" you in the pages of your books. They will get to know you in very subtle way, and there will be communication.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Lourdes Urrea Perseverance, that is my best advice. many time you will feel like "throwing the towel", but those moments shall pass, if you have
a passion for what you do, if you have a reason for doing it, believe in
yourself and persevere!
