Alex Parker Getting out and experiencing life, the world, having fun are the best way of getting rid of writer's block. It gives you a fresh perspective and gives new ideas which you probably wouldn't have thought of if you were just holed up in your apartment.
Alex Parker Just write. Write and write and write. That's all. And when you think you've written enough, write some more. Also send off everything you have to an agent or publisher to increase your chances of getting picked up. Or you could just self publish.

Alex Parker I mainly drew on my past experiences in life. I've been to every location mentioned in the book personally (with the exception of Antwerp and The Hague) and mainly relied on my own recollection of what it looked like, what the coffee tasted like, what the people were like, etc.
