Do not quit! It is easy to get discouraged, but if you keep at it and don't give up, you will eventually have that completed novel! Also, take yourself seriously. You are a writer long before you actually make money at it.

I try to do something that inspires me. Sometimes that is simply writing in a new spot. Another thing I do is to write a scene that I don't intend to use in my book. Doing this takes off the pressure and just gets the creativity flowing.
