For me, writer's block is a clue that I need more clarity about what I'm writing. Usually I will make sure I'm in my optimal writing space (dining table looking out the window at the nature path and trees, cup of tea in hand) and that I have done enough freewriting to get the creative juices flowing! Once I've done those things (and planned my book with the TAP Method!!) I'm usually good to go. If you're stuck with writer's block, try freewriting for 5-10 minutes and watch what happens. ;)
