I think the best way to deal with writer's block is to just keep writing. Write something different. Write something fun. Write the same word over and over until the next word comes to you. If you're having trouble with a scene, start writing the next scene. Don't let writer's block become an excuse to avoid writing.

I just sit down and write. If I waited for inspiration, I wouldn't get anything done. Sometimes you have to be bossy with your muse.
