K. Anne Jarrait I read somewhere, "Don't aspire to write, just write." And it's true. Writing is deeply personal. You are so involved with your work, everything about it is a part of you. It's insanely scary to put it all out there. But if you want to write, just do it.
K. Anne Jarrait It's a dream job. I love to write. There isn't much not to love about living your dreams. But my biggest love of the opportunity does not come from my love of writing, but rather the example I show my children. Whether I succeed or fail in my endeavors I have shown my children to dream.
K. Anne Jarrait It hasn't quite taken shape yet, so no working title. The idea running through my head though, well, if you are a fan I don't think you will be disappointed. I don't want to give away too much.
I've also been contemplating on writing from Roscoe's of Smokes point of view to give him more depth and see where he comes from. But his story hasn't came to me yet. Time will tell.
K. Anne Jarrait As cliche as it is, my kids inspire me. I've always loved to write, but it wasn't until I became a mother than I was inspired to move forward with it. Their endless supply of imagination is mostly exhausting, but also very inspiring. After an afternoon playing with them, sometimes I find myself bursting with my own ideas. Sometimes those ideas build, sometimes not. But if you were ever looking for inspiration to create a new world, hanging out with kids is definitely the way to go.
