My "Vampire Shadows" series is based on my enjoyment of several dozen vampire novels, and my desire to write a story that had all my favorite elements with a new twist. So I thought, "what if a vampire could be resurrected?" If a particular evil vampire wanted to try it, he would find a sacrificial victim as a test subject. If that test subject survived and wanted vengeance, that might make for a great start to a series of stories.

I'm working on the next book in the Vampire Shadows series, continuing the story of Sabine and her friends. It's called RELUCTANT TO BITE.
