Funny you should ask because yesterday I was planning my release schedule for next year! I have two contemporary books releasing in February, but spring/summer will be all about Spies and Lovers. I have a Spies and Lovers novella out in an anthology right now. (https://www.amazon.com/Once-Upon-Chri...) I'll be releasing my contribution A Wicked Wedding on its own in March if you'd prefer to wait. Then, two full length books in the series (#4 and #5) will release in April and May. As soon as I get the summaries written, I'll be putting them up on Goodreads and for preorder by the end of the year! I'm excited to be spending more time in Regency England! http://www.lauratrentham.com/spies-an...

I love that you love the series!!

Yes! They are recording right now as a matter of fact. It looks like they have a placeholder up, but it's showing as not available yet. It should release the same day as the book. https://www.amazon.com/Highlander-Wal...

It depends on your definition of "soon." I have more Cottonbloom planned and I want to write more, I just need a clone! Lol. I have a novella for Clayton planned (brother of hero of Light Up the Night) and a new set of characters for a full length trilogy. Ford does need an HEA, but I don't know what that looks like yet. And, I can't pin a release date on more Cottonbloom either as I haven't done more than outline and have other books to write first. In the meantime, I have a new series starting this summer called Highland, Georgia you might enjoy. A Highlander Walks Into a Bar releases this July!

Thank you, Lakisha! Your website looks great and the prologue was intriguing! Good luck on your writing. My advice is to write and read as much as possible as you continue your journey. Good luck!!

I've got so much stuff cooking! My next official release is a romantic women's fiction book called The Military Wife out Feb 2019 (my second WF is already written and will be out Feb 2020...seems so long, but marketing for these is a bit different than regular romance.) Then, this week in fact, I'm starting the first book in a new series, Highland Fling (out July 2019). The new series is still small town (set in Highland, GA) but will veer more rom-com than my previous books. Here's a blurb: http://www.lauratrentham.com/highland...
And, I'm also planning to release the fourth book in my historical romance series, Spies and Lovers. (Not sure if you're a historical reader or not though.) Thanks for the question and so glad you've enjoyed my books so far!! I always enjoy your honest reviews!

Yay! So glad you're enjoying the series. There will be more books to come, but I'm uncertain if Reed will get a book or novella yet. I have a bad (or good, depending on how you look at it) habit of writing secondary characters who seem to all want stories! One secondary character who will definitely get his story is Clayton from Light Up the Night. As for Reed...I don't know yet, but hopefully!

I've gotten several questions about Clayton! As I was writing Light Up the Night, I realized Clayton was going to be special. So, short answer is YES, but it might be sometime in 2018 before I get a chance to write it. His story (and heroine) is in my head! It might be a companion novella to Light Up the Night. He's a secondary character in the next story arc trilogy (starting with Leave the Night On) as is his heroine, but I'm not telling who it is (Bwhahaha!)

I'm from Weakley county over in the north-west corner. I went to school at Knoxville though, and we went hiking up in Big South Fork several times. It's beautiful up there!

Alec Kincade and Jamie from Julie Garwood's The Bride! I'm a sucker for historical romance and even more so for Highlanders. Jamie and Alec are funny and sweet together, and I love watching Jamie soften the tough Laird. I think one of my favorite lines to lead off a chapter ever is "She started three wars the first week."
If you haven't read it yet, then grab it, curl up on a chair, and enjoy! (Now I'm going to have to reread it for the umpteenth time:)

Thrilled you loved reading them as much as Ioved writing them! And, yes, much more Cottonbloom coming your way! First up is a Xmas novella, CANDY CANE CHRISTMAS, out Oct 25th. Then, three more full-length Cottonbloom books following a family of mechanic brothers are hitting the shelves starting in Aug 2017. Here's a peek at the first book, LEAVE THE NIGHT ON... http://www.lauratrentham.com/blog/wha...
And, since I know that's a long wait for the next full-length book, all my newsletter subscribers might just be getting a fun stocking stuffer this year:) http://eepurl.com/bwbOkD

I dealt with very question in a recent blog post! When you sign a contract as an author, you don't have time to deal with writer's block, so you'd better be able to identify the problem and a way around it... http://www.lauratrentham.com/blog/dea...
