Flynn Falcone THE PEGASUS PROJECT was born out of some frustration with our current political and economic systems. Well maybe not necessarily the systems themselves, but the results that we've been seeing for a while. What if we could change things? What if we HAVE to?
Flynn Falcone Many ways: dreams, thoughts, observations. Different ideas begin to coalesce in my mind, and slowly I start to think that I might be on to a story of some kind...I feel that we're living in a very interesting and important time in the human enterprise, so that inspires my work immensely.
Flynn Falcone A post-apocalyptic thriller set several hundred years in the future. It's technically science fiction, but I like to think of it as "futurism".
Flynn Falcone Don't quit, even when it's hard. It WILL get hard. That's when you know you're up to something good. Keep pushing. EVERY person on this earth has an important story to tell. Don't die with your song still inside you.
Flynn Falcone There is nothing more exciting than creation. Creating is the purpose of every person, no matter how it manifests. Writing is great because you don't need anyone else to do it. If my work entertains, inspires, informs, or somehow positively affects another person, then that's icing on the cake!
Flynn Falcone I've found writer's block is most typical on a first draft of a manuscript. I'm staring at a blank page that needs to become a full one. (A good time to remind myself that I'm creating, or pulling, something from nothing - a worthy endeavor!) So I must write SOMETHING - a note, a line, a word, a thought. I personally find music to be quite inspiring and guiding. Sometimes I need the total quite and clearness of the early morning. Once a story gets rolling and you can feel it wanting to be born, then you're in The Zone!
