David Owen It was completely the publisher's idea! After coming up with the cover design, the designer found that it worked in almost every colour and couldn't decide which one to choose. They pitched the idea of just doing all of them and unexpectedly was told yes! It gave us some cool opportunities to do a limited edition cover (the 361st 'golden eggs') and for people to hunt down/share which colours they got.
David Owen I'm afraid it's unlikely. I do have some loose ideas for a sequel sketched out, but I think that ship has sailed. I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to want more but unfortunately I don't think enough people did!
David Owen I'm fairly sure the answer to this is Watership Down, by Richard Adams. It has great characters, I love the rabbit mythology he builds throughout, the story is genuinely exciting/frightening/empathetic, and I've never read anything that better encapsulated the British countryside.

It's also got one of my favourite moments in fiction - the showdown between Bigwig and General Woundwart. Goosebumps every time!
