I generally give in to it. I mean, almost whenever I sit down to write I find myself wanting to do something else - tidy up the room, check to see if the mail has come, maybe make another cup of coffee? So, I actually allow myself to do a couple of those things, and then once I've gotten the distracting itch out of my system, I sit down with my steaming new cup of coffee and FORCE MYSELF TO WRITE!
