How do you get inspired to write?
Wendy L. Patrick From a career´s worth of jury trials, asking victims how they missed the warning signs that the defendant was not as wonderful as he or she appeared, I discovered that the best explanations of the psychology of attraction come from the witness stand not the therapist´s couch.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Wendy L. Patrick The wisdom in this book comes from my twenty years of legal/ law enforcement experience with the ways in which people fall for charming manipulators by missing the warning signs, which are often there from the beginning.
