I walk away and leave the project alone. I have no expectation of going back to it, and I start something else. With the pressure off, I eventually come back to the project when something comes into my head!

As silly as this sounds, I see a scene or a particular person, and my imagination steps in. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, a story plays itself out for me, and the next morning, I'm at my laptop, typing away!

I actually lived in Las Vegas, and would watch from the sidelines the social interaction around the pool! So I played out a fantasy of mine!
