I have never known much about Norma, my grandmother. She rarely spoke of her childhood, and when she did, it was simply that her parents died when she was a small child. Her stories varied on how it happened, all of them were quite dramatic. All we know is that she grew up with a wealthy family in Indiana and had a mysterious trust fund which disappeared when she died. Norma was a beautiful, vivacious redheaded artist. Never a dull moment! She has always been a muse for me. I have a few of her fascinating old letters paintings and photos that will eventually turn into a book.
