My book was inspired by Tim Vine. It's as simple as that! I was reading his excellent 'The Biggest Ever Tim Vine Joke Book' and I found that as I was reading it, I started to come up with my own jokes a lot easier - the book just seemed to get me 'in the zone'! When you read a joke book, the rapid-fire nature of the jokes makes you notice certain techniques that the writer has used - or at least that's what happened in my case. A few months later and boom! Gagged and Bound was born.
