Frances Carden Definitely The Mine. That one was a labor of love. Such an enjoyable writing experience. It wanted to be told and wrote itself.
Frances Carden Dreams and guilt. :-)
Frances Carden A dark fantasy/horror novel that, oddly enough, was also inspired by a nightmare. I've been working on this particular book on and off since I was a teen. I completed a novella of it when I was a teen and also did half a screenplay based on it for a college class. I've finally decided that I cannot let the idea go, and am properly transforming it into an adult novel.
Frances Carden Actually, the idea for my novella, the Mine, came from a very bad nightmare. It stuck with me, and there was something in the idea that while horrifying, had an odd sort of promise. I wrote the book in two days, because I just couldn't leave that world behind until I saw how it ended. The characters completely took over.
