Jenni DeWitt You mean other than staying in my pajamas at home on rainy days? I'd say the best thing about being a writer is using a gift God's given me to serve others.
Jenni DeWitt The best advice I can give to an aspiring writer is just to write. Even if no one sees what you're writing right now, the more you write, the better you will get.

When you're feeling brave and ready to get your work out there, start a blog or do a Google search for publications that are accepting submissions. Teen writers can get published. In some markets, being a teen writer is even an advantage, because you bring a unique perspective.

At first, it can be hard or scary to put your writing out there. You're not sure if you're any good. But, with time, confidence in your writing will grow.
