Fucking Poetry started as a small notebook in my pocket. I wanted to write some poems and I carried the notebook with me for 1.5 years writing when I got the inspiration. The whole time I knew I was going to try and get this book out on my own. It has been a fun journey and continues to open my mind to the world of writing and self promotion. The second book is already written and I may shop it around to a publisher or agent.

I have two active projects. I am working on a serial fiction piece about a murderous clown in the circus. I am working directly with artists to publish it with their art on my blog one chapter at a time. They chapters are very small because they are in a notebook I carry in my pocket.
The other project I am working on is a poetry book dedicated to the memory of my Little Gramma and her home. She recently passed away at 91 and she was the love of the family. Her loss and the sale of her house affected me deeply and I am working on a love letter to all those experiences from birth to 42 years of age.

I would put myself in this category. I think we're all aspiring for something. I would say for any writer, don't stop. Even if your work goes unnoticed you will feel better when you write than when you stop. Don't write solely for the audience and never ever censor based on what the public will think. Fucking cussing a little doesn't hurt either.

I love creating a story from an idea. I have a mind that keeps pestering me with new ideas. I love to craft that idea into a piece of writing. It doesn't matter how small the project I just love creating something from that little nugget of an idea. I never know how a story will end. I write to the ending and it will appear. Same goes for my poetry. I start with a line or a stanza and write from a problem to a solution.

I have the opposite of Writer's block. I start working on a project and then three more come into my head demanding to be worked on. I usually keep a journal of ideas for later. With my day job I am super swamped so my time is very limited. I try my best to work on my projects whenever I get the time so the past 3 years I have been working out of a notebook in my pocket.
