Michelle Beber I guess my emotions lead me. I've been creative when I've been happy, sad, and even angry. All of these emotions have led to manuscripts. I've done quite a bit of my writing while I'm sitting outside amid nature, but I've also received great ideas while commuting to work. I don't really do anything to "get" inspired. I am simply a vessel through which words are delivered when and where the higher powers deem appropriate.
Michelle Beber Right now, I'm working on promoting my debut children's picture book, "Angels, Angels, Everywhere" through the summer. After that, I'm going to put my next children's picture book into production. It's a wonderful story about a magical butterfly, and its purpose is to help children with grief. I'm planning a Mother's Day 2017 release. In addition to that, I've got at least eight other children's picture book manuscripts just waiting to be published, including two more books of angelic poetry and one about fairies.
Michelle Beber Answer your calling, and never give up on your dreams! If you've been given a passion and talent to write, you must make use of it, and you must do everything you can to put your work out there, whether you go through a traditional publisher or self-publish. Writing is a gift you've been given, and it's your responsibility to share your gift with the world.
Michelle Beber The creation process ... when the words are flowing, and you're in the zone ... it's an exhilarating "natural high" ... bringing your creation to life. I also like the fact that my words are bringing comfort and joy to people, especially children.
Michelle Beber I just wait it out. There's nothing else I can do. If it's not coming to me, it's not coming. I can't force myself to write. It has to happen naturally. The good news is that I've had only one really bad case of it so far. :)
Michelle Beber The words for "Angels, Angels, Everywhere" came into my head as I was sitting in traffic on the 405 freeway in Los Angeles. As an angel intuitive, I know that they were given to me by the angels themselves, specifically Archangel Michael. I've been given the Heavenly assignment of teaching children that they have angels who love and support them at all times, and I'm very grateful to be blessed with such a fulfilling life purpose.
