I mostly deal with writer's block by avoiding the conditions that trigger it. I get up before dawn to try to preserve a dreamlike state for as long into the day as possible. I prefer not to get dressed or splash water on my face before starting to write. If I hit a blockage, I sidestep that segment and return later.
I break up the writing day with contemplative walks and other activities to rest eyes and brain.
When I feel I'm nearing the end of my productive working day, I often find a can of cheap lager unlocks a last hour of writing.
