Write something, anything. I will often times just have to sit there and push hard to dig something up and it loosens the block enough. Most of the time, the resulting prose from said work is terrible, but it's occasionally very good. But if I can just wiggle that block enough I can usually slip through. It's a tricky one.

People enjoying what I write. It's really my imagination at play, and when people enjoy that, it's immensely satisfying. Sometimes writing is not so fun, but knowing that someone may enjoy it later is awesome.

My best advice is twofold. 1) Write. Write whenever you can about whatever. Don't just write what's fun. Figure out how to write things that you don't know how to do. Take a challenge and work with it. 2) Don't give up. I know it sounds cliche, but if it took me 20 years to get something out, you can do it too. If people won't publish you or look at you, don't give up. Try something else. Also, hire or recruit people to help you. Editors, publishers, agents, friends, critics, whatever. Anyone can have input and help you along. They all want you to succeed.

I'm working on Book 2 of Adepts and Demons, following the journey of the chosen as they struggle to get to the Druid Tower. New challenges and adventures await.
I'm also working on a prequel idea to the whole series, following an enigmatic character in the main series, but that idea is very much on the back burner right now. I'm committed to getting Book 2 written in a rough draft form by June of next year.

Listening to music or watching great movies. Sometimes the music alone brings something up. Other times I see dialogue between characters and it sparks something. I may even just walk around in nature and have ideas come to mind. My inspiration happens all the time, though seldom when I have the time to write. I have to bottle it and release it later, but that's tricky.

Adepts and Demons as a whole came about as I was riding my bike home from a friend's house after school. I got the idea for a series of weapons based on elemental powers, and what that might look like. The more I played with the idea, the more the characters and, really the entire world started to take shape around it.
