Stephanie Davies-Arai It emerged gradually over years of parenting and working with parents, and more specifically when I did some research on parenting books on Amazon and realised that there are two polarised camps of parenting ideology and that all the advice we read comes broadly from one or the other. That insight gave me the structure and purpose of my book.

Stephanie Davies-Arai I go for a walk! If that doesn't work I try to immerse myself in something completely different for a while, and sometimes I wander around looking completely vacant. It always passes.
