In all seriousness, the biggest mystery in my life is where all of the years went. I still feel and act like I'm in my thirties and I really do not understand how I could possibly be in my fifties. I feel like I went into a coma one day in my thirties and woke up the next day in my fifties.

The narrator is a character I created way back in college in the early 80s. I wrote the first 50 or so pages of a book either starring or narrated by him over and over again for about three decades. The book that just got published, HARSH PREY, is what happened when I just kept writing after 50 pages.
