A new book set several years in the future -- set mostly in Europe and the Middle East. Some of the characters from Threatened Waters appear but it is a stand alone novel.

There have been several conflicts between nations over water (that have drawn little attention). With the growth of cities, we now are dependent on a maze of infrastructure most know little about, which if threatened, would subject us to 18th century conditions. Hence the name Threatened Waters.
