I draw on a lot of my own life experiences, but I'm also very avid movie-goer. I love reading the classics, I like sci-fi, I like almost any story told very well. I enjoy the arts, and getting out into the world connecting with nature, and other humans. I find it all fascinating and spectacular. I think the idea of spectacular and adventure are always a good place to begin developing writing skills.

The best way to overcome writers block (because I'm also a composer/songwriter) is to get in the habit of writing every day. Write in creative, technical, poetic, song lyric forms, just to name a few. Writing every day insures that a constant flow will be available.

Keep your writing construction skills sharp by writing daily. Be inventive, write at good writing sites online, such as hubpages.com. Becoming part of an active writing community will open up opportunities and alliances, and allow your writings to be critiqued by professionals. Learn as much as you can by associating with people who are successful writers.

I have several other book ideas that are associated with music that I write. My hope is to create books and music that could be companions to each other, which I think could be a powerful way to deliver good messages.
