Trevor Johnson Writer's block can really only apply to plotting, unless you write without knowing the plot in advance. Plotting stalemate is frustrating when you want to just get ahead but it always resolved itself after a few days.

Trevor Johnson Walking down Devonshire Road in Chiswick one day gave me the idea of a young woman going for a job interview in the WW2 era. I wrote her story, but later cut it all as it made the prologue too lengthy. She's still the heart of the book though.
