Maggie Adams I dreamed I was being chased by a knife wielding psychopath and I was unable to wake up. Maybe it isn’t a dream and this is my level of hell.
Maggie Adams I would love to travel back in time to Regency England. Of course, I would probably stir up trouble with my sassy mouth and modern ways. Sit and embroider? No way. Paint flowers? Nope. Read Wolstonecraft and attend marches for women's rights? Oh yes! Ride like the wind, and not sidesaddle? definitely. I'd be known as a hellion and I'd love every minute of it!
Maggie Adams My favorite fictional couple is from the first romance book that I read, Flame and the Flower by Kathleen Woodiwiss. Brandon and Heather Birmingham! Their love story is Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, all the romantic fairytales rolled into one.

Maggie Adams Hi! Sorry this is late. I've had the flu. Ugh! I have always dreamed of becoming a writer. I would read a story and write down different endings or add characters. As for the first book I wrote, I would have to say it was Ask Jesus. I was always curious about "why" and that's what my mom would say when she didn't know the answer, so I kept a journal to Ask Jesus. My favorite book ever is The Flame and The Flower by Kathleen Woodiwiss. It was my first romance read and it introduced me to romantic characters and settings. Thanks for the question and definitely look for more books from me! Whistlin Dixie is only the first book in my seven book series!
Maggie Adams I don't know yet. I've always found something to say!
Maggie Adams Bringing my stories to life.....and the voices in my head have a place to go! lol
Maggie Adams Never give up! Keep writing, no matter what your circumstances. I've been an accountant, owned a daycare, mother, wife, and all that goes with it and I still found time to write. With self- publishing so readily available, why not take the chance?
Maggie Adams Book Two of the Tempered Steel series. It's entitled Leather and Lace, and features the love story of Sam and Angel. It's a bit more intense than Whistlin' Dixie, with more of an erotic edge, but still plenty of humor and suspense.
Maggie Adams I listen to music, people watch, just about anything can prompt a writing frenzy for me.
Maggie Adams “My family and I actually lived in the Grafton area for several years. We moved in February of 1993, but my daughter went to kindergarten at the Grafton School and my son was baptized at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church,” states Adams. “I saw the pictures on the news and heard the stories from other family members, but unless you are actually there, you just can’t fathom that type of destruction. It gave me the idea for this series.” But that's how I decided to write a romance abut people struggling.
