Wow! That seems good being an Author, Anyways, My name is Katie obviously, I get bullied at Secondary School sadly just because of my Weight but I have a reason for that, which people don't understand, when I'm older I would like to be a Dietion or maybe an Author as I'm a fast typer. You seem a Very, Very Good Author, What Kind of Books have You Wrote so far?
Shubha Menon Hi Katie! This is the only book I have written so far, though I am working hard to finish the second one soon! Have you read my first book, The Second Coming? The woman in the book is overweight but NO ONE can bully her. So just refuse to get bullied. If someone tries to act smart, threaten to sit on them till they squeal! Yes, I love being a writer, but I am not a very fast typer. You have plenty of time to decide what you can be when you are older, but I hope you will be someone who knocks the stuffing out of bullies! Take care and do reply!

Shubha Menon Hi Katie! Oops oops and oops! I really should have seen this earlier. But anyway, let me answer your question. Being an author is extremely hard work but it is also deeply satisfying. I wouldn't want to be anything else, but I may change my mind, you never know!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Shubha Menon I have written just one book so far. The idea came from a bunch of colleagues and our endless conversations in the lunch room.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Shubha Menon Getting to explore subjects that interest you. Answering a character's questions and getting your own answered in the process.

What are you currently working on?
Shubha Menon My first book The Second Coming has just been published. I am busy promoting it and haven't started work on anything else quite yet.

How do you get inspired to write?
Shubha Menon Inspiration comes to me in the form of thought starters. Someone says something or the newspaper reports an interesting incident and it starts a chain of thoughts in my mind, and before i know it, the germ of a story has taken root. Given time and breathing space, it takes form and shape.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Shubha Menon Write. That's all. Its all very well to aspire but unless you produce some work, you won't know how good or bad you are or if al all you are cut out for a career in writing.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Shubha Menon Writer's block? Frankly I have never had the time or luxury to indulge in one, I just sit and type before the deadline runs out.
