I'd love to visit Maggie Stiefvater's world from her brilliant book the Scorpio Races. That island was written so vividly that I can see it perfectly. I'd love to see the water horses and eat November Cakes in the village during the festival. It would be great to visit... and then leave again for safer shores.

Writing is like being able to "play pretend" again like little kids do. I get to make up my own worlds, create characters and let them have fabulous adventures all from the comfort of my own home. Even though my characters face danger and personal challenges I also get to make them all have happy endings... that's a must. :)
