hi Sapan, Jayant Here ! I am also working on my first novel, can you please guide me what you did to overcome writer's block, means you know what is to be written, but often the words fell short?
Sapan Saxena I mostly work on the entire plot beforehand. I write all the major plot points in a draft separately and then try to find loopholes in the plot. Once I am conviced there are no more loopholes, I take help from a couple of people who I trust would give me a constructive review. If that many people say the plot is good, you may convince yourself, that the plot, now, is done. So, I dont often get a writer's block. If I do get it, I take up some Sherlock Holmes or a Harry Potter novel which gives me a kick, and I attempt it again
