First I just finished your first book and it was fantastic. The question I have for is, will you write another story with the character Alex Dale in it?
Holly Seddon Hi Janice! Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it! I would never say never but at the moment I'm not writing another Alex Dale book. Perhaps in future as I'm not sure I've finished with her! Every Christmas, I write an Alex Dale short story which you can read on my website if you're interested! Hi Holly, I read your first novel "Try not to breathe" and gave it 5 stars since it was that good in my opinion and I could not wait for your 2nd book to come out and it has been but not at my library like your 1st was and I wonder why, I may have to get it on Amazon or at the store I guess. Any other way I could get "Don't close your eyes" ? Also I see you have another book out already, can't wait!
Holly Seddon Hi Karen, thanks for getting in touch. So pleased you liked Try Not to Breathe! Don't Close Your Eyes should be available in libraries but it may be worth asking your librarian if they can order it in as to does vary from place to place. Which country are you living in? Any chance we will meet Alex Dale again? I really enjoyed her, flaws and all. In fact, I think you did a fabulous job of creating a protagonist who was quite seriously flawed, but still so sympathetic. I really want to see how she does going forward!!
Holly Seddon That's so kind of you! I have a huge soft spot for Alex and I actually write an Alex Dale short Christmas story every year. As it stands, I don't have a plan for another Alex novel but never say never!

What are you currently working on?
Holly Seddon I'm currently working on my second book. It's not a follow-up to Try Not To Breathe and I'm really enjoying getting to know this new set of characters.

Like Try Not To Breathe the action takes place across several decades, so I get to make hundreds of Spotify playlists and Pinterest boards of the clothes and locations. Definitely a perk.
