I have not watched tv for decades. Sustained and uninterrupted 'creating', whatever the medium, is a way of defining self, sharing with others and in all other ways, about making connections.

I don't think I have ever had writer's block. Having the story planned has probably helped eliminate any potential blockages or writer's cramp. Ensuring that all the plots and subplots are neatly arranged before unleashing the characters, keeps a structure tight so that you don't get half way through a chapter and think, 'oh, hang on, that character can't do that because...'
