“The Law killed the Christian (Rom. 7:8–9). He was officially declared dead (Eph. 2:1–4). When he accepted Christ, only his spirit revived (Eph. 2:5–6; John 3:5); but his old dead body (Gal. 2:20) went right on moving (Rom. 6:1–9).
