“The instant they were inside Marsh’s room, Shane closed the door and pivoted to find a doubled fist coming at him with lightning speed. Shane staggered back while Marsh cursed like a trooper and massaged his stinging knuckles.
“Damn you, Stafford!”
“What did I do?” Shane questioned incredulously.
“You know what you did. The very fact that you didn’t hit me back tells me what I need to know,” Marsh seethed. “Just how blind do you think I am anyway?”
“How would I know? I didn’t even realize you had trouble with your eyesight,” Shane replied dryly.
Scowling, Marsh threw another punch—one that connected with air.
“You do have a problem with your vision,” Shane mocked.”
