“could feel something staring back at him. He fixated on the barn door and drew deeply off of his cigarette. As he exhaled a thick cloud of smoke he saw two red lights appear in the barn door. “Were they lights?” he thought. “No. They were reflecting the moon. Whatever they were they weren’t lights.” He took a step to the right and the two red things moved with him. He took a step back and then a step to the left and they moved with him again. He began to feel the hair on the back of his neck stand up. The air smelled strangely of ozone, like right before a thunderstorm. He closed his eyes slowly in a deep blink before deciding to go investigate but as he opened his eyes back up realized that the two red things he was perceiving were themselves eyes as they had blinked back at him. He beat her for ten minutes straight and she had only the blankets to protect her naked body from his immense strength. She knew this man was not her husband, yet he used Yuri’s body. He tore the blankets off of her and backhanded”

The house certainly did look the part of a demon house from some half baked, nineteen eighties, low budget horror movie. He chuckled a little to himself as they got to the end of the driveway. She smacked his arm with her purse and shot him a dirty”

“Yeah, I like that idea a lot. But let’s see…you know, we haven’t signed a lease yet. Who knows how we’ll like the inside, or if it will be right for us,” Hank returned”

“Hank stood for some time just staring into the fire. He didn’t know how much time had passed. He just spaced out. His head felt uncomfortably clear and he wanted to return to the party. He spun hard on his right heel and started toward the house. Before he even took a full step he knew something”
