Today is my first day on the Skeld. I have not been here very long at all.
We flew here in a small dropship. It is like flying in a can. Scarlet and I were first inside. She knew her way. We sat down and did up our seat belts.
“Don’t fret, Blue,” she said. “The Skeld is not far. But the ride is bumpy.”
“Good grief,” I said.
Soon there were more crewmen. There was a green suit, and a purple one. When there were ten crewmates inside an alarm sounded - BOOOOOOOOOOP BOOOOOOOOOP and lights flashed.
“Time for takeoff!” shouted Scarlet. “Hold on!”
Everything shook. I closed my eyes. With a whoosh and a bang it blew free of Mira HQ. It shot into the sky!
I kept my eyes shut. I thought I might faint.”
