“Sitting Through Anger Intention: To transform anger to its opposite. Frequency: Morning, evening, and before bed for 21 days. Close your eyes and breathe out three times slowly. See yourself sitting inside your anger. Find your way out and look at it. Decide what you want to do with it: transform it, dispose of it — it’s your choice. Now see an opposite soothing image (such as sitting in the center of a rose or floating on a cloud). Breathe out and open your eyes, knowing that the anger is gone. Note: It’s best to find your own images directly from your own experience.”
