The three of them start to walk up the stairs towards us, with looks of thunder on their faces. I snigger again, unable to control myself and Raegel shakes his head at me, clearly unimpressed.

“Don’t give me that look,” I snap. “Not when you’ve been a very naughty boy.”

Hagan and Van shriek and collapse into a fit of laughter, and Raegel’s eyes darken as he stares back at me. Riven’s not looking any more impressed and his wings pulse with irritation.
