“Bishop wasn’t big on nightclubs; jumping around on a dance floor with four hundred people off their heads on drugs hardly seemed like fun.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Unleashed
“I might seem calm, but in my head I’ve already killed you twice.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Fury
“everyone deserves two things in life: respect and justice.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Fury
“As they pushed through the swinging steel doors, a bullet smashed into Aleks’s back. He grunted and snapped his pistol around to face the threat. The smoking revolver was held in the shaking hand of the Yamaguchi-gumi clan leader. “I’m on your side, fuckhead,” Aleks snapped, pushing the revolver down with a gloved hand and entering the industrial-size kitchen.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Fury
“One man’s terrorist was another man’s oil broker.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Unleashed
“They were all wearing grubby, torn jeans and sported the usual talismans and charms to ward off bullets. He smiled grimly as he noticed one of them wearing a bright-red life jacket over his bare torso; some of the Africans had strange ideas regarding protective equipment.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Unleashed
“Kenta shrugged him off and swung the dildo like a baton, smashing it into the prisoner’s face. The tool became a blur of black rubber as he flailed the man, each blow making a sickening, wet thud. Within seconds their captive had fallen sideways out of the chair, head slamming onto the metal floor. Blood flowed from his face as he tried feebly to protect himself from the bludgeoning sex implement. The muscle-bound Yamaguchi was grunting but showed no sign of tiring. His victim’s face was now a bloodied mess, eyes swollen shut, nose destroyed beyond recognition. Bishop didn’t try to stop him. Kenta had lost five of his friends in the last twelve hours, seen the putrid condition of the Mori-Kai slaves, and now his rage was spewing out of him, engulfing everything it touched. Even after he had beaten the man into unconsciousness Kenta continued to bludgeon away, the blows slowing as fatigue set in. Finally he stopped, chest heaving, and dropped the bloodied club on the floor next to the battered body. “I’m sorry.” Kenta walked back into the corridor. Bishop shrugged. “Like you said, he wouldn’t have talked.”

“If it flies, drives, shoots, finds, swims, explodes, or sings, then PRIMAL wants it. By the time we’re ready to roll, I wanna be able to reach out and touch any murdering, polluting, exploiting fucktard on the face of the earth. We’re gonna make Mossad and the CIA look like a bunch of cookie-selling Girl Scouts!”

“What brings you to house of God?” The church’s Orthodox priest approached them with his hands up, speaking calmly in Hungarian-accented English. “We seek refuge from evil men, father,” Aleks replied, flashing an Interpol identification card before hefting one of the heavy pews toward the door. Kurtz helped him wedge it against the wood. The priest disappeared through a side door into the vestibule and returned moments later with an ancient-looking double-barreled shotgun and bandolier of shells. As he moved to secure the other doors in the church, Kurtz gave the priest a quizzical look. “Someone must defend the church,” the priest said as he cracked open the weapon and dropped a pair of cartridges into the chambers. He stood protectively over Aurelia. “I spent a little time in the army when I was a younger man.”

“Ah, Aden—” Bishop pushed open the door and rounds snapped through the air. He threw himself backward into the safety of the stairwell. Heavy-caliber projectiles slapped into the door, punching through the wood in a shower of splinters. The pair beat a hasty retreat back down the stairwell as slugs bounced off the walls. “Don’t even think about saying it,” said Bishop. “It’s OK, we’ll find another way out.” Mirza patted the rocket launcher. “Or we can always ‘make’ a way out.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Vengeance
“If those bastards at the Veda ranch wanted a war, he was going to bring them a blitzkrieg.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Reckoning
“Beecroft pushed back his chair and struggled to remove his corpulent frame from its clutches. He finally jumped to his feet, drawing himself up to his full five feet nine inches. “You will do no such thing. This is my post and I will—” “You will sit the fuck down, Ambassador!” Vance growled from a height advantage of almost six inches. Beecroft shrunk like a deflated balloon, dropping back into his chair.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Origin
“Not once had the Afghan warlord invited him down to the tents they had erected below the work site. Khan and his group of Taliban had established a comfortable camp complete with carpets and servants. At night Yanuk watched them through his night vision goggles. While he slept in the open and ate from cans, these peasants were living it up like they were on some sort of camping trip, eating roasted goat and taking turns to sodomize one of their young servants.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Unleashed
“The veteran PRIMAL operative checked for trip mines. Nothing says you’re not welcome like having your legs blown off, he thought.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Unleashed
“action!” “Roger, I’ve got visual on the target,” whispered Mirza. “At least two of the Iranians are in the building.” One of the old men drinking coffee gave him a strange look.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Unleashed
“The market is flooded with all of the cheap stuff coming out of Russia. You know, the Curtain comes down and they flood the market with junk.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Origin
“I say,” Mitch added, “you two,” he used his beer to point at the two former CIA operatives, “have been drinking a shitload of booze. For a pair of dead chaps, that is.”

“OK, so this is what’s going to happen, Felipe. You’re going to tell me exactly what I want to know or things are going to get… interesting.” He took a syringe out of his pocket and removed the safety cap. He showed it to the policeman then slid it into his arm and depressed the plunger. Felipe fought against the tape. “What the hell is that?” “Don’t worry, it’s nothing dangerous. Just a muscle relaxant and some Viagra.” Bishop leaned in close. “You can feel it can’t you? A warm fuzzy feeling, all your muscles relaxing, except one. But that’s not a muscle is it?” “What, what are you doing to me?” “I’m not going to do anything to you. But my friend is. I’m just going to video it and send it to all your police buddies. Or maybe I’ll just put it on the internet for all the perverts to jack off to.” He opened the door. It took every ounce of his discipline not to burst out laughing. “Tell me, Felipe, are you familiar with the expression, I’m going to make a playground out of your ass?” Mitch stood in the doorway wearing a gimp mask and a pair of cut-off denim shorts. His muscular, hairy chest was strapped into a harness with a steel ring in the middle. He was holding a giant black rubber dildo. “What the hell?” screamed the bound man. Bishop used his knife to cut the tape holding him to the chair. “It’s OK, Felipe. You seem to be already enjoying this.” The policeman looked down at his raging boner. “Nooo, you can’t do this. You can’t.” Already his voice was slurring as the drugs kicked in.”

“Four of them got out of the SUV, all heavily built, all wearing jeans, T-shirts, and, despite the heat, jackets. “Hi.” Bishop gave them a wave. “What the fuck are you doing here?” asked their leader. He had a shaved head and looked like his diet consisted mainly of horse steroids. “I’m sorry, didn’t your man at the gate tell you? We’re from Human Rights Watch, just doing an inspection on the conditions of the camp.” “Who gave you permission to do that?” “Oh I can’t remember, some guy from your headquarters.” He looked at Ice. “Do you remember his name? I think it was ‘Simon’ or something.” Ice didn’t miss a beat. “I seem to remember it was ‘Simeon.’ Yeah, Simeon.” “Simeon Isayev?” The man looked surprised. “Simeon Isayev gave you permission to come here?” The other henchmen looked at each other. “Yes, that’s correct.” Bishop smiled. “Lovely fellow.” “I don’t believe you. I’m going to call him.” “There’s really no need.” “Shut your mouth.” The thug started to dial a number on his cell phone. Bishop pulled out his false credentials. “Simeon was nice enough to give us this letter. Do you want to see it?” He stepped forward, offering the document. The Russian grunted. He had his phone to his ear with one hand and held out the other. Bishop’s punch caught him completely by surprise. It hit him square on the jaw, sending him reeling backward. He dropped his phone.”

“Give…give me a second.” Aleks spoke quietly. He lifted his hands to his face, wiping the sweat and tears from his eyes, then with an almighty roar, he rose up like a grizzly bear, grabbed the chair that had held him prisoner, and smashed it into Dostiger’s remaining interrogator. The man doubled over, trying to shield his face. Aleks dropped the chair and grabbed him by his collar, hauling him across the room like a doll. He swept the man’s legs from under him, catching him around the neck in a powerful chokehold. The solid Russian’s bicep bulged and the man’s face turned a deathly gray as Aleks whispered something in his ear. The man’s eyes grew wide and he scrabbled at the Russian’s arm in a feeble attempt to escape the deathly grip, then with a shudder, he went limp and was dropped to the floor unconscious. Aleks turned and spat at the corpse of the other torturer. “This piece of shit was going to drill out my eyes. Let’s get the fuck out of here.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Unleashed
“A noodle slipped through Aleks’s chopsticks and back into the bowl. “Sweet mother Russia! How do these people not starve to death?” He lifted the bowl up to his face and used the sticks to shovel the noodles into his mouth. “That’s right, Aleks, you focus on the important things.” “What? I’m sorry, did my eating interrupt your whine? Perhaps you would like some cheese with that.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Fury
“Front door looks like the only way in, Bish.” “Not keen for any Mission Impossible antics onto the roof?” Mirza gave him a look that summarized his low regard for Tom Cruise’s on-screen stunts. “Yeah, I thought so.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Vengeance
“The first Yakuza sedan screeched to a halt mere inches from its bumper. The driver of the Mercedes honked his horn and wound down his window, yelling angrily. The police car gave an almost apologetic wail of its siren and backed out of the entrance, leaving a gap. “Pretty bloody clear who’s running the show,” murmured Bishop. “I’m not sure this was a good idea,” responded Saneh. “This was your idea.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Fury
“Where do I find Simeon Isayev?” He pointed the weapon directly at the chief enforcer’s face. “Fuck you!” the man slurred, his jaw broken. The pistol sneezed and the Russian screamed as the heavy slug tore his kneecap out. He collapsed to the ground. Ice had his own pistol out and was covering the other men. “You’ve got another knee, then I start on the elbows. We can do this all day,” said Bishop. “He’s at the office; it’s in the industrial area,” the man whimpered. “What’s the address?” The Russian rattled it off.”

“We all make mistakes. It's what we learn from them that defines us.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Nemesis
“Race you back. Bet you twenty bob I win.” Mitch pressed the ignition button of his customized ride. The 1,000cc engine roared to life. “You serious? God knows what you’ve done to that thing. Probably goes like a jackrabbit on meth.” “Come on, Vance, everyone knows you and Flash are the biker heads. There’s no way yours is stock.” Vance grinned as he climbed into his ATV, barely fitting inside the roll cage. He turned over the engine and it gave an angry snarl. “OK, you’re on.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Fury
“The two Yamaguchi henchmen who had slid the doors shut joined the group. They were dressed in the dark suits and white shirts that seemed to be the uniform of traditional Yakuza. Bishop shook his head. “Some tailor’s making a killing off you guys.” Kenta looked at him blankly. “Never mind. Go on.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Fury

“Kurtz pulled the glove compartment open and handed a set of thermal-imaging goggles to Aleks. He pulled his own pair on over his face. “You get smarter every day: It’s light outside, comrade space cadet.”
Jack Silkstone, PRIMAL Fury
“You’ve got to be shitting me. A Prius.” “Just shut up and get in.” The hybrid car gave a whine as Bishop pressed the ignition button. “Yeah, great, we’ll really be able to outrun them in this,” Ice grumbled to himself as he leapt into the backseat.”
