Bartenn Mills was born and raised in Iowa but after moving north, south, east and west she settled in a small Iowa town where she raised a family without bloodshed and currently works fulltime at a respectable job, certainly nothing that would suggest a life of fictional crime. In the wee hours of the morning you can find her solving imaginary murders.
Her writing has won awards. She’s published several short stories and poems. Bishop to Queen’s Knight was her debut novel, swiftly followed by Bishop Bewitched. Her next novel, Vanilla Lies, featuring amateur sleuth Jane Vanilla will be out in September
