Sarah Al Shafai comes from an island in the Middle East known as the Kingdom of Bahrain. She studied in Boston and Miami and graduated with a BA in Liberal Arts. She is a constant traveller and enjoys writing short stories and poetry at the same time. She is a monthly correspondent in a local English women's magazine where she writes about real life stories in the Arab world. Yummah is her first novel.
