Barbie majored in Child Development in college and has always enjoyed working with children. She lives in Clovis, California with her husband and two active toddler boys. Barbie is passionate about her creative hobbies and is able to carve out time for them in addition to being a busy working mother. She is quirky, funny, and has a loving heart. Her entrepreneurial nature led to starting her own online children’s boutique. Barbie has a unique and charming way at looking at the world, which came from growing up with free-spirited parents, reflecting in her writing. Her first book is a reflection of the unique obstacles she faced as a child and the journey to self-acceptance.
