Yolanda Pantin nació en Caracas el 10 de octubre de 1954; Licenciada en Letras, egresada de la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
En 1979 se integra al grupo literario Calicanto dirigido por la escritora Antonia Palacios. Ese año recibe la Mención de Honor del Premio Nacional de Poesía Francisco Lazo Martí por su libro Casa o Lobo. En 1981, junto con Alberto Márquez, Miguel Márquez, Igor Barreto, Rafael Castillo Zapata y Armando Rojas Guardia, se separa de Calicanto y funda el grupo Tráfico que en su momento significó una violenta ruptura y cuestionamiento a las poéticas dominantes en el país. En 1982 recibe la Mención de Honor de la Bienal de Poesía José Rafael Pocaterra por el libro Correo del Corazón. En 1989 funda con un grupo de poetas ...more
