Dorothea Rockburne, Ph.D. (Bowdoin College, 2016; Black Mountain College) is an abstract painter, dancer, and performance artist, drawing inspiration primarily from her deep interest in mathematics and astronomy. Rockburne is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, National Academy of Design, and The Century Association.
